The 2026 tournament is the first with 48 teams, co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. It runs from 11 June to 19 July 2026 across 104 matches — the largest World Cup in history.
For bettors, the expanded format matters: more group games mean more third-place permutations (great for group-qualification markets), and the extra Round of 32 adds a knockout round of value before the favourites meet.
For the first time, Oceania has a guaranteed direct place at the finals, and New Zealand won OFC qualifying to reach the World Cup. Expect long outright odds — but "All Whites to qualify from their group" and "All Whites stage of elimination" markets offer genuine Kiwi interest and, occasionally, value.

During the tournament, expect books to run World Cup-specific promos on top of standard welcome offers:
Always check the wagering requirement, minimum odds and expiry before opting in — a big headline offer with 30x+ turnover is rarely worth it. See our bonuses explained section for how to judge them.
